Facebook Creator Fast Track requirements

Creator Fast Track is Meta's program that pays creators from TikTok, YouTube and Instagram to start posting Reels on Facebook. Here's exactly who can apply, in plain words.

Last checked Oct 26, 2026 against Meta's and the platforms' own pages. Anything we couldn't confirm there is marked. Meta can change its rules at any time.

The short list

Meta's own page lists these. You need all of them:

  • You live in the US, Canada, the UK or Australia.
  • You're 18 or older.
  • One of your Instagram, TikTok or YouTube accounts has at least 20,000 followers.
  • That account had at least 30,000 video views in the last 60 days.
  • You haven't posted a Facebook Reel in the past 6 months.
  • Your Facebook account is at least 30 days old.
  • You have a Facebook Page, or you create one.
  • Your videos are your own work, filmed or made by you.

Meta also says it decides eligibility at its own discretion, so meeting the list doesn't guarantee a yes.

The two rules people miss

30,000 views in the last 60 days. Followers aren't enough. A 200k channel that hasn't posted in months can fail this. Check the views on the account you plan to link before you apply.

No Facebook Reel in the past 6 months. One Reel on the Facebook account you apply with restarts the clock. Instagram can share your Reels to Facebook without you noticing, so turn off Instagram auto-sharing before you apply. (Meta doesn't say whether an auto-shared Reel counts. We treat it as if it does.)

What Meta pays

If Meta accepts you, it pays a monthly bonus for 3 months, in US dollars, on top of turning on Facebook monetization.

FollowersMeta's public pageThrough our link (US)
20k to 99k$100 to $450 a month (Meta sets it)$300 a month
100k to 999k$1,000 a month$1,000 a month
1M+$3,000 a monthNot confirmed. Meta shows your amount in the application.

"Through our link" is what Meta's referral page shows US creators who apply with our link. Meta shows your own amount inside the application, and Meta decides what it pays.

Once you're in

Each of the 3 months, post 15 eligible reels on Facebook, spread over at least 10 different days. They must be public, your own work, and never posted on Facebook before. Videos you already posted on YouTube or TikTok are fine. See 15 reels on 10 days for a planner.

Then finish Meta's payout, tax and ID setup right away, or Meta can't pay you. See Fast Track payouts.

Questions

Do YouTube subscribers count toward the 20k?

Yes. Meta counts followers on Instagram, TikTok or YouTube. Use your biggest single account: it needs 20,000+ followers and 30,000+ video views in the last 60 days.

Can I add up followers from two accounts?

Plan on one account reaching 20,000 by itself. Meta asks you to link an account that meets the bar, and Meta decides.

I posted a Facebook Reel 3 months ago. Can I apply?

Not on that Facebook account yet. Meta asks for no Facebook Reel in the past 6 months. Take our one-minute checkup and answer Yes to the Reel question: it shows you your options.

Is Fast Track open outside the US?

Meta lists the US, Canada, the UK and Australia. Our referral link only covers US creators, so creators in the other three countries apply on Meta's own page.

Does it cost anything to apply?

No. Fast Track is free. If Meta approves you through our link, Meta pays us a referral fee. It costs you nothing.

How long does Meta take to decide?

Meta says you'll hear after a few days whether you're approved or on the waitlist. Meta decides who gets in and can change the rules at any time.
